SEAM announces new Steering Group for the 2026–2028 term

Updated governance team to support the continued development of sustainability practices across the European abrasives industry.

Paris, France (May 27th, 2026) – FEPA, the Federation of European Producers of Abrasives, announces the composition of the SEAM Steering Group for the 2026–2028 term.
As the governance body of the SEAM Program, the Steering Group supports the strategic direction of the initiative and oversees its development across key areas including environmental efficiency, production performance and occupational safety.

The members serving during the 2026–2028 term are:
  • Antje Schwemberger – Tyrolit (Austria)
  • Aldric Barbier – Saint-Gobain Abrasives (France)
  • Rok Mezgec – Weiler Abrasives (Slovenia)
  • Stefan Haag – Husqvarna (Germany)
  • Ivo Correia – KGS Diamond Group (Portugal)
These members serve alongside the FEPA Presidency, which holds a permanent role within the governance structure:
  • Upcoming President: Eric Verhimst – 3M
  • Vice-President to be nominated
SEAM, the Sustainable European Abrasive Manufacturers initiative, supports continuous improvement across the abrasives sector through practical sustainability tools and reporting frameworks.
The initiative brings together manufacturers, suppliers and distributors across Europe to support progress in resource efficiency, occupational safety and operational performance.

The newly appointed Steering Group will continue guiding the implementation and development of SEAM activities over the coming years, supporting the initiative’s long-term objectives across the European abrasives industry.
